We add names when we can document their use. Send the spelling, whether the name is used for girls, boys or both, and its meaning if you know it. We never publish who suggested a name.
What to include in your name suggestion
- Spelling: Include Turkish letters where applicable, and mention any alternative spellings you know.
- Gender usage: Tell us whether you know it as a name for girls, boys or both. It is fine to be unsure.
- Meaning and source: Share the meaning if known and where you found it. You can still suggest a name without knowing its meaning.
